Senior VP/General Manager/Co-Founder

Portsmouth, NH and/or Boston area

Our client, a Boston based private equity firm, has engaged Molloy Associates to identify a Senior VP /General Manager/Co-Founder to lead in the formation of a Small Ticket, leasing company (fintech oriented), with a Board comprised of highly experienced and diverse backgrounds in the small ticket leasing and capital markets space. This highly coveted opportunity will be headquartered in the Portsmouth, NH and/or Boston area and seeks a “Rock Star” candidate to be an integral part in the formation of the company DNA, owning the sales growth strategy and building the founding team in this exciting value-driven start-up. This individual must have the “can do anything” attitude with the ambition and willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed and break the norm.

This exceptionally talented and passionate candidate is a seasoned equipment finance executive who has successfully led financial firms in a variety of niche equipment and commercial lending markets and possesses the following core competencies:

  • Develop sales strategy, forecasting, budgeting with the ability to attract and hire the founding sales team for high velocity scaling.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and communicate across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to influence and be a natural leader with entrepreneurial spirit. Lead an organization with a positive attitude that’s infectious to the culture.

  • A resourceful problem solver with the ability to creatively conceptualize and implement effective solutions improving efficiency, transaction profitability, financial operations and market penetration.

  • Ability to wear many hats and oversee the development of the company’s risk assessment protocols, credit policies, lease operations and sales origination strategies and systems to assure maximum efficiency and a seamless customer experience.

  • Understanding the importance of growing each day yet learning from each passing day.

Compensation:

This position offers a generous compensation package, a meaningful founders equity participation in the company as well as medical/health benefits and paid time off.
